| Personal Statement:I graduated Sonoma State University in 2009 with my BA in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing. I have worked with CalServes Americorps for 2 years as a Literacy Specialist and Team Leader. In this time, I have worked closely with over 150 children, many of who are second language learners. I specialize in reading, writing and literacy comprehension, but am also capable of tutoring students (k-6) in math. I am currently in the process of obtaining my Multiple Subject Teaching credential, and am also a substitute teacher in my area. I am willing to work with children who need a great deal of help, or with those who just need a boost in grade level. | |||
